The Russians are inhuman evil monsters out to kill people and de-fenestrate buildings for no reason, so say we all.
There have been a number of strikes on civilian areas in Ukraine recently which have garnered heavy press attention in the UK media. On the most recent outrage in Lviv, in western Ukraine the Guardian have given us this; “Night-time onslaught believed to be heaviest attack on civilian areas of city since start of invasion” - Associated Press. No person has put their name to this and perhaps with good reason, there is no map of the city with landmarks or potential targets that may have been the intended target or hit with this civilian block being collateral damage as our western military folk say. The only clue given to the whereabouts of this apartment block are somewhat vague:
“Lviv is near the western border with Poland and is more than 300 miles (500km) from the frontlines of the war in eastern and southern Ukraine, where Kyiv’s counteroffensive to dislodge Russian forces is in its early stages.”

Cunningly it appears the Russians have placed a large military facility in the civilian area, unbeknownst to the Ukrainian ministry of truth, the enquiring journalist “Associated Press” (Nominative determination in action?) or the Guardian - a bastion of award winning independent journalism.
In line with my lifetime of conditioning, I of course reached for an unbiased balanced new source that deals in facts without fluff and found the beloved BBC covering the same story, truth finally truth! “Six killed in Lviv as Russian strike hits apartment building in western city” So it is true, the Russians are randomly striking at apartment blocks, true true all of it true!
Windows are blown out and rooves obliterated, “after a Russia rocket hit an apartment block in Lviv, western Ukraine” (hyperbole perhaps), more of a blast wave effect that a direct kinetic hit and a boom, there is no crater, there are no holes visible in the footage and still images provided by the Ukrainian ministry of truth. There are however people willing to put their names to this, because its the BBC and you can trust them the journalists in question are Jaroslav Lukiv & Thomas Mackintosh, that’s right so much truth they had to credit it twice.

Being unbiased and nonpartisan one of the two gives us the Russian ministry of truths version of events:
“Russian state TV said a defence academy was hit. It gave no evidence to back up its claim.
Now clearly there is no evidence to back up the barbarous Russian claim. The 9 Навчальний Корпус Академії Сухопутних Військ (9 Training Corps Army Academy) over the road from the apartment block the Ukrainian government want you to look at (without turning around or taking a look around the area you Putin stooge!) could be anything. Look at the crazy names we have for things, a newcomer to the UK could look at a map and wonder what the hell is a Tesco? And why do they all claim to be supermarkets, surely even if there is a high overall standard some of them must be by definition quite average? But I digress.
Back to Lviv, western Ukraine and the oddly specific attack on an apartment block 500 kilometres from the front with no strategic value or role in the conflict (like Bakhmut then) that began in 2014 when Ukraine deployed its military against its own people and the world shrieked in outrage and put blue and yellow flags all over their social media in solidarity with the soldiers and pilots who risked their lives to kill men women and children who were trying to live their lives.
Back to Lviv, peaceful Lviv, beautiful Lviv, back to the civilian apartment block, back to the random barbarity of the evil Russians who would so maliciously use a precision guided weapon at random for now reason. Its certainly true to form for these Russians who for 30 years lived next door to Ukraine in peace and rather than invade and conquer them when they had a small inexperienced military waited for the very moment they had a large, expensively trained and armed one. Back to the civilians caught up in a conflict, 500 kilometres away from the front, where the evil Russians have struck at the supposed military academy with “no evidence to back up its claim.” Back to the people of peaceful beautiful Lviv specifically on Akademika Andriya Sakharova Street, what hang on?! Akademika Whats...akova? But the BBC said…! Jaro and Tommo went there, did the research, scoped it out, didn’t they? Oh I see what is going on, I bet the Russians got to them! Boney M were right "Oh those Russians!"
